Tauren roam the grassy plains of Mulgore. It is a peaceful, open starting area that eventually funnels into The Barrens, joining forces with Orcs and Trolls for the journey ahead.

The Fastest Way to Level as a Tauren
As a Tauren, your journey begins in Mulgore. This zone is designed to take you from level 1 to 10 or 12. Staying here until you finish all local quests is crucial for building a strong foundation of XP and gear.
Levels 1-10: Mulgore
Focus on the quests centered around the immediate starting area. Red Cloud Mesa is high above the rest. Camp Narache is your first stop.
Levels 10-20: Moving Out
Once you've outleveled your starting zone, you'll naturally be guided toward the neighboring secondary zone. For Taurens, this usually means heading to The Barrens.
